What we store

When you use Influencer Inbox, we store the following in your workspace:

  • Your account: Email address and hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Your creator profile: Display name, legal name, contact email, bio, platform list, and rate card notes — whatever you choose to fill in.
  • Forwarded emails: The subject, sender, and body of emails you forward to your Influencer Inbox address. These are stored so you can reference them alongside your deals.
  • Deals: Brand name, proposed rates, deliverable details, deadlines, stage, and notes — extracted from forwarded emails or entered manually.
  • Todos and drafts: Follow-up todos you create and generated reply drafts.
  • Activity log: A record of actions taken in your workspace (deal created, stage changed, review run, etc.) used to power the Insights dashboard.

Connecting Gmail (optional)

If you choose to connect Gmail, Influencer Inbox requests read-only access (gmail.readonly) and nothing else. It can never send, delete, archive, mark read, label, or change anything in your mailbox.

  • What we access: We look for likely sponsorship conversations and, for conversations you accept, store their messages and eligible scanned attachments in your workspace so replies stay current — including your sent replies.
  • What we keep: Accepted conversations remain in your workspace until you delete them. Limited candidate metadata and a short excerpt may be retained for up to 14 days; rejecting a suggestion removes readable suggestion data immediately.
  • Encryption: Gmail OAuth tokens and stored Gmail-derived content are encrypted at rest using cloud key management, and all transfers use TLS.
  • Your control: You can pause sync, disconnect and keep imported deals, disconnect and delete Gmail-derived data, export your data, revoke access in your Google Account, or delete your account entirely.

Influencer Inbox's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it for generalized model training.

What we send to Anthropic (Claude)

When automatic deal reviews are enabled, we send email content to Anthropic's Claude AI API.

Specifically, we send:

  • The body of forwarded emails — so Claude can identify the brand, proposed rate, deliverables, and deadline.
  • A system prompt we write — instructions telling Claude what fields to extract and how to format them.
  • When generating a reply draft: the email conversation and any custom instructions you provide.

We do not send:

  • Your password or any authentication credentials.
  • Your payment information (we don't collect payment info at all).
  • Any information from other workspaces or other users.
  • Your full creator profile — only what's needed in the prompt context.

You can disable automatic deal reviews entirely in Settings → Privacy & Automatic Reviews. When disabled, no email content is ever sent to Anthropic.

Gmail-derived content is only sent to Anthropic when you separately consent, AI processing is enabled, and our production Anthropic organization and model have an approved zero-data-retention configuration. Otherwise, Gmail processing stays rule-based and you review the suggested details yourself. Any AI-suggested fields are shown as a proposal you approve field-by-field — the model never changes your workspace on its own.

What we do not collect

  • We do not sell your data to anyone.
  • We do not use your email content for advertising or cross-user analytics.
  • We do not track you across the web. Our analytics, if any, are workspace-level only.

We share data only with the service providers (“subprocessors”) needed to run the product: Anthropic (AI deal reviews, when enabled), our hosting provider and cloud storage/key management (to run the app and store your data securely), our inbound email provider (to receive forwarded emails), an error-monitoring provider (which receives only scrubbed, content-free diagnostics), and an attachment malware scanner (to keep downloads safe). We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data retention

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you soft-delete a deal or imported email conversation, it is marked for deletion but remains recoverable for 30 days. After 30 days, it is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

When you delete your account, all workspace data — deals, imported emails, drafts, todos, and your creator profile — is permanently deleted immediately.

How to delete your data

  • Delete a deal: Archive it first, then use the delete option on the deal page.
  • Delete an imported email conversation: Open its Deal and use Remove conversation in the Emails section.
  • Delete your account: Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone section. You will need to confirm with your email address. This action is permanent.
